In an industry where patient records are used for improving the quality of care as well as for legal documents and billing, it is vital that every record meet the highest standards. It all starts with highly qualified and experienced medical transcriptionists. Our MTs are employees who have between 3 and 40 years' experience (average: 12), have been transcribing for NTI, on average, for 4 years, and are proficient in 3 to 12 medical specialty areas (average: 6).

In addition to an exceptional transcription staff, we maintain an aggressive Quality Assurance Program so you don't have to worry about the details! By monitoring your reports on a regular basis, we can ensure that each patient record produced surpasses the highest industry and client standards.

Our quality assurance personnel provide feedback and training for our MTs. This environment of supportive feedback helps our MTs achieve high quality ratings and job satisfaction.

 

	ELLA HUDSON, President Ella has been active in the medical transcription business since 1991 both as a medical transcriptionist and a business owner. Ella brings 20+ years' experience in technology and healthcare to NTI from her previous career as medical photographer and audiovisual producer, most recently at Maine Medical Center. Ella has a BA in English from the University of South Carolina. She co-founded Northeast Transcription, Inc. in 1994 with partner Kathryn Matlack.
	KATHRYN MATLACK, Vice President Kathryn holds a BS in chemical engineering from Northeastern University. She brings 10 years’ experience in business ownership and management at NTI as well as experience with her family’s nursing home and apartment management businesses.
	SHANNON KASHINSKY, HR & Finance Manager In her HR role, Shannon manages NTI employees nationwide while ensuring NTI's financial health as the Finance Manager. Prior to joining NTI, Shannon was a nurse, worked in education administration, completed an Accounting degree and worked in the private sector in accounting and HR.
	DAVID POWELL, Technology Manager David brings 17 years’ experience in the computer and technology industry. He plays a strategic role in maintaining the NTI technology infrastructure, providing support to all MTs and moving the company forward with new security features and software enhancements. David holds a master’s degree in psychobiology from Emory University and made a career change when he realized that he enjoyed working with computers more than pigeons!
