General Recruiting Information
NTI was started in 1994 by Ella Hudson and Kathryn Matlack with two to three transcriptionists. The administrative staff consists of a QA team, MT Trainer, HR/Finance Manager, operations team, Technology Manager, and sales and customer support team. Our office is located in Portland, Maine.
We offer all full-time employees a benefit package that includes an elective S-125 flexible benefits plan with an associated health insurance (Aetna HMO) and medical and dependent care reimbursement accounts. In addition, NTI contributes a predetermined dollar amount per month toward each participating full time employee’s health insurance premium through the company-sponsored plan. Other benefits include vacation and flex time, a 401-K program, and employee discounts on hardware and software purchases through one of our primary vendors.
All computer hardware and software necessary to perform the administrative function for NTI are provided by the company. Cable modem or DSL is required.
We really pride ourselves on our communication with all NTI employees. We use e-mail, instant messenger, and weekly newsletters, and you can always reach someone for help by calling our office. We have had a lot of positive feedback from our staff regarding working with us.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.
