President

Brian James rejoined National Technologies (NTI) as President in 2024 after founding the company in 2009 and leading it through more than a decade of growth to become a national leader in fiber optic and data center infrastructure. With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, Brian has built his career from the ground up, serving as a technician, foreman, superintendent, and project manager before moving into executive leadership. This career path has given him a unique ability to connect long-term strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring that NTI consistently delivers on its reputation for quality, scalability, and customer trust.

Throughout his career, Brian has placed a strong emphasis on workforce development, serving for over 20 years as a certified trainer and instructor, teaching advanced fiber and data center practices to technicians and project managers nationwide. He also holds numerous industry certifications, including the BICSI RCDD credential, underscoring his commitment to technical excellence and the highest professional standards in the field.

In addition to leading NTI, Brian serves on multiple Boards of Directors across the technology and infrastructure sectors, providing guidance on growth strategy, operational scaling, and innovation. Most recently, he was appointed to the Board of Duos Technologies (Nasdaq: DUOT), a publicly traded AI-driven technology solutions provider. His governance experience further strengthens his ability to align NTI’s mission with the evolving needs of clients, investors, and the broader digital infrastructure market.
