Cathriona Barrett

Area Director, Chicago

With more than 25 years of experience in the electrical and telecommunications industry, Cathriona brings deep technical expertise and proven leadership to every project. She began her career as an IBEW low-voltage electrician and spent 13 years with a major electrical contractor, leading field operations on large-scale structured cabling, data center, and central office projects. Over the years, she has worked closely with national telecom providers on infrastructure design and build-outs, equipment installation, DC power systems, and fiber optics.

In 2013, Cathriona transitioned into project management, where her ability to deliver complex initiatives with precision quickly stood out. Since joining NTI in 2015, she has been instrumental in building and leading the Chicago ISP team focused on data center infrastructure. Going forward as Area Director, her deep field experience, commitment to quality, and dedication to developing high-performance teams will continue to drive successful operations in our Chicago market.
