Michael Woodard

Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)

Michael joined NTI as a Project Manager in November 2018 and relocated from Illinois to Virginia in February 2019 to support the rapid expansion of the Northern Virginia market. In 2020, he was promoted to Operations Manager, where he formalized team structure and established scalable processes across the region.

In 2021, he advanced to Director, leading all Data Center and Fiber operations in the Mid-Atlantic. The following year, he was promoted to Senior Director and played a key role in launching NTI’s Columbus, Ohio market. During this time, Michael completed an MBA with concentrations in Operations and Human Resource Management and earned his PMP certification.

In 2023, Michael was named Vice President to lead national outside plant (OSP) fiber initiatives, later transitioning to Vice President—East, where he oversaw Data Center and Fiber operations across the Mid-Atlantic, New York/New Jersey, and Ohio markets, while directing regional growth and customer programs.

Recognized for cultivating strong client partnerships and driving operational excellence, Michael was recently promoted to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). In this role, he is responsible for developing and executing NTI’s long-term growth strategy across its Data Center, Fiber Services, and Hyperscale business lines. He works closely with operations, finance, business development, and M&A teams to ensure alignment and deliver measurable results.
