AJ’s career spans engineering, product management, network technology, sales leadership, and higher education. He began as a Fiber Optics Engineer in Silicon Valley, publishing research on signal propagation through optical fiber. He also served as an instructional designer creating college curriculum for many years. All roles that allowed him to explore the industry from multiple angles.

This unique blend of hands-on technical expertise and instructional skill makes AJ a rare asset in the data center industry. With certifications from FOA, SCTE, and ETA and a degree in Computational Physics from DePaul University, AJ brings both academic rigor and real world practicality to every training module he creates. 

But what truly sets him apart is his ability to deconstruct complex concepts into simple, digestible explanations — a skill that new technicians consistently say helps them gain confidence quickly.
