Kristen's path to becoming a Project Manager reflects a successful career transition driven by a desire for professional growth and work-life balance. After spending twelve and a half years as an elementary school teacher, she joined the telecommunications industry to pursue new challenges and opportunities while balancing life as a mother to a young child. Since entering the field, Kristen has continued to build her expertise, earning her Google Project Management Certificate in March 2026. The certification strengthened her knowledge in key areas such as project initiation, planning, execution, and Agile project management, further supporting her success in leading complex fiber projects.

"My Bachelor's degree in General and Special Education equipped me with strong skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management that have transferred seamlessly into project management, " she says.
